A B O U T M E
Hey there, I’m Amanda!
I’m an artist, dancer, writer, guide, and space holder devoted to beauty, embodiment, expression, and the brave , ongoing practice of coming home to yourself.
My work lives at the intersection of movement, healing, creativity, and women’s work. I create spaces for women to soften, feel, remember who they are, and step more fully into a life that is honest, embodied, and alive.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple devotion to help women stop performing their lives start inhabiting them.
To feel their lives. Trust what is true. To make space for beauty, expression, connection, and the fullness of being here, now.
Before this chapter, there was dance…
Before transitioning into the work I do now, I spent the first three decades of my life devoted to dance.
Performance was my first language.
I grew up inside a world of discipline, artistry, expression, rigor, and devotion to craft. Dance taught me how to listen with my body, how to communicate beyond words, how to refine raw potential into lived expression, and how to bring a vision to life through practice, presence, and repetition.
Over the years, I had the honor of performing in extraordinary spaces and alongside legendary artists.
Some highlights include:
Performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC with Debbie Allen, ages 11 and 12
Performed at the George Washington Masonic Temple in Washington, DC with the Capital City Opera, age 11
Performed in the Nutcracker with the Moscow Ballet, age 13
Performing in Italy and Spain, age 15
Worked with other legends like Ann Reinking, Twyla Tharp, and Desmond Richardson
Performed 2 years at the Life Ball in Vienna, Austria (largest charity event for AIDS)
Performed at the Stanislavsky Theater in Moscow, Russia
Spending 9 years as a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall, including performances on The Today Show, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Michael Bublé Christmas Special, America’s Got Talent, and more
Dance gave me so more than a career…
It gave me an intimate relationship with the body as a vessel for feeling, discipline, resilience, creativity, and truth.
It taught me devotion. It taught me stamina. It taught me how to hold intensity. It taught me the difference between being seen performing, and being fully present within a moment.
And that difference has shaped everything that came after.
Healing, Women’s Work, and the Return to Self
In 2021, I transitioned out of the performing arts and more fully into the healing arts — though, in many ways, they have never been separate.
Movement, expression, and transformation have always been the through-line, part of the same conversation.
Since then, I’ve taught yoga, led sound bath meditations, offered energy healing, and facilitated experiences in spaces across New York and beyond, from wellness studio and boutique hotels to retreats, private gatherings, artistic spaces, and company events.
I also founded a local sisterhood in Upstate New York that grew to over 400 women, creating spaces for connection, celebration, support, and shared becoming. I hosted an International Women’s Day event (rebranded to the EmpowHer Summit), a multi-day virtual gathering featuring 30+ facilitators and nearly 100 attendees across 3 years.
These experiences deepened what I now know to be true:
Healing is not just personal, it’s relational. Communal. Cultural. And often, it begins in the simple but powerful act of being witnessed in your humanity.
At my core, I’m a community builder and space holder. I create environments where women can reconnect to themselves, feel less alone, share their gifts, trust their inner knowing, and remember the power and beauty already living within them.
My work is trauma-informed, intuitive, and rooted in reclamation. I don’t believe women need to be fixed. I believe they need spaces that invite them back into their bodies, their truth, their voice, and their aliveness.
Rooted in Hawai’i, Shaped by Aliveness
In 2023, I moved to the Big Island of Hawai’i and life here has changed me.
The island has softened and stripped me in sacred ways. It has deepened my relationship to safety, self-trust, worth, intuition, and reverence for what’s real. Again and again, it returns me to what is essential.
Movement is still my first language. But the conversation has changed.
It’s less about performance, and more about presence. Less about image and more about truth. Less about proving and more about inhabiting.
In this season, I published my debut poetry book, with more writing already rising to the surface.
I contain multitudes: dancer and healer, writer and guide, woman and artist devoted to beauty, truth, feeling, and the ever-evolving art of being fully alive.
This work is not about adding more to your plate and becoming someone else. It’s about returning to yourself more embodied, more expressed, more honest, more alive.
It’s an invitation into what I think of as the Alive Life — a life lived in deep relationship with the body, with beauty, with truth, and with the courage to fully inhabit your own experience.
